No, we’re designed for flexible, part-time care. But if you're looking for drop-in playcare, PlaySpace is a perfect solution. We’re open late evenings and weekends, giving you options when you need them most.

Your child’s safety and care are our top priorities. In our infant room, we maintain a 1:3 or 1:4 staff-to-infant ratio. On the main floor, the ratio ranges from 1:5 to 1:10, depending on the time of day and how many children are present.

When we anticipate higher attendance, like school breaks, we increase staffing to ensure every child gets the attention they need.

While we understand the desire to check in, we don’t offer live camera access. With so many families in our system, it’s challenging to limit access to only when a child is present. This approach helps us prioritize the safety and privacy of every child in our care.

We are a state-licensed childcare facility and meet all required safety and training standards. Our staff members undergo thorough background checks, including FBI screening, and are certified in CPR and first aid. They also complete ongoing child development training each year. Many of our team members are parents themselves and bring both professional expertise and personal experience to their work with children.

Children can attend PlaySpace up to 15 days per month. Infants (under 18 months) can stay up to 5 hours per visit, while children over 18 months can stay as long as you need. Our goal is to remain a fun, flexible solution—not an everyday childcare center.

• For infants: Diapers and a change of clothes (no wipes needed).
• For potty training: A change of clothes.
• Meals: If you pack lunch or dinner, make sure it’s nut-free. We provide complimentary snacks and offer meal options for purchase.
• Cups: We provide water cups with straws, so no sippy cups are necessary unless your child needs one.

We understand how important it is to protect your child from germs. That’s why we follow a thorough cleaning process every day. Our toys are sanitized each evening and left to dry overnight, and any toy that gets mouthed is cleaned immediately. We also partner with a hospital-grade disinfection company that treats our entire space monthly.

Because we provide flexible, short-term care instead of full-day childcare, kids are exposed to fewer germs for shorter periods, which helps keep everyone healthier.

Yes, and it works beautifully! Mixed-age play encourages older children to develop leadership skills while younger ones learn from watching their peers. It also allows siblings to stay together, making the environment feel more like a family.

Yes! We have cots available in the infant room, and you’re welcome to bring a nap mat if your child prefers their own. 

We offer lunch and dinner for an additional cost, or you can bring your own food.  We are a NUT FREE facility, so please do not pack and nut products.
